The battle royale of WBC light-flyweight champion Lourdes ”Little Lulu” Juarez and former champion Yesica Nery Plata is going to be a hum-dinger and although they are slender boxers, this fight won’t be for tiny tots!
So says Roberto Diaz, who is Yesica’s Promoter, a match-maker of vast experience, President of Sheer Sports Management and a font of Boxing wisdom. The mother and father of ring battles will aptly be held on South Padre Island, Texas on October 19th.
Both have built extensive pro careers. Lulu is 38-4, 5 KO’s, while Yesica is 30-2, 3KO’s. Roberto said: ”Obviously in boxing anything can happen. The champion has a lot to say and we very much respect Lulu Juarez. But Yesica’s mentality right now, is that nothing is going to hold her back. She is very excited to be the first Mexican fighter to be signed by MVP, so we`re excited and just a few weeks away.
” I believe we’re going to see Nery chasing Lulu. I think Lulu is going to move a lot and use range, Nery will push forward and will be very aggressive. There is going to be a lot of pressure from both sides.”
