Lindolfo Delgado defeats Omar Aguilar in great fight

Lindolfo Delgado (16-0, 13 KOs) defeated Omar Aguilar (24-1, 23 KOs) by unanimous decision in a scheduled 8-round battle.

With scores of 77-75, 79-73 and 79-73. In a war of undefeated Mexican prospects, Delgado and Aguilar put on one of the best action fights of the year. Delgado, a 2016 Olympian, gave Aguilar anise bleed  in the first round, but it soon evened up.

 Delgado turned the tide in the fourth round, landing a right hook that stunned Aguilar, who tripped into the ropes. The last half of the fight Delgado used counterpunching to offset Aguilar’s offensive strategy.

Lindolfo Delgado delivered the best performance of his career to defeat Omar Aguilar.
