
Lauren Louise Price, born June 25, 1994, in Newport, Wales, is a prominent professional boxer who currently holds the unified WBC, WBA, and IBF welterweight world titles.
Her career is remarkable, both at the amateur and professional levels, cementing her position as one of the most influential figures in contemporary women’s boxing.
Price made her professional debut in 2022 and quickly made her mark on British boxing history. On May 6, 2023, in Birmingham, she became the first British professional boxing champion by winning the national welterweight title against Kirstie Bavington, and was also the first woman to receive the Lonsdale Belt.
On May 11, 2024, in Cardiff, she defeated Jessica McCaskill by unanimous technical decision, winning the WBA, IBO, and Ring world titles. Later, on March 7, 2025, she unified the titles by defeating Natasha Jonas at the Royal Albert Hall in London, adding the WBC and IBF belts to her collection.
Currently, Price holds an undefeated record of nine wins, two of them by knockout.
Before her transition to professional boxing, Price had a distinguished amateur career:
• 2020 Tokyo Olympics: Middleweight gold medal.
• 2019 World Championships: Gold medal.
• Commonwealth Games: Bronze in 2014 and gold in 2018.
• 2019 European Games: Gold medal.
She was the first Welsh woman to win a boxing medal at the Commonwealth Games and simultaneously became an Olympic, world, European, and Commonwealth champion in the middleweight category.

• Football: She played for Cardiff City F.C. and represented Wales at the U-17, U-19, and senior levels.
• Kickboxing: A four-time world champion and six-time European champion.
Price was raised by her grandparents in Ystrad Mynach, Wales. She studied Football Coaching and Development at the University of South Wales. In 2022, she was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to boxing.
