Undefeated Japanese star Katsuma Akitsugi (10-0, 1KO) squares off against all-action Mexican Eduardo Ramirez (22-3, 16KOs), in a fight that could see the winner challenge for top honors in the 118-pound division.
Akitsugi, now based out of Los Angeles, CA, enters after knocking off three undefeated opponents in his last four outings. Ramirez returns after an intense battle with world-rated Ramon Cardenas as he looks to put himself back in contention for a big fight.
Nicklaus Flaz (12-2, 8KOs) looks to pick up his first professional title as he takes on a late replacement, the game Mexican-American Alfredo Escarcega(15-1-1, 7KOs), after original opponent Peter Dobson pulled out with no reason given.
Rising prospect Najee Lopez (10-0, 6KOs) returns to the ring against fellow puncher Steven Sumpter (9-0, 7KOs). Lopez enters the contest with likely a better skill set, however one punch can change everything in the light heavyweight division, and Sumpter comes in with major knockout power.
Highly rated Filipino standout Weljon Mindoro (11-0-1, 11KOs) makes his US debut against former Bareknuckle Boxing world title challenger Tyler Goodjohn (13-5, 4KOs), in what can only be described as an interesting contest to say the least.
