Justin Trudeau is one of the most popular world leaders, an accomplished politician, a good speaker, blessed with great charisma and admired by Canadian society who elected him as Prime Minister of Canada in 2015.
One of the facts that not everyone knows is that he is passionate about boxing, and this sport gave an important impetus boost to his political career.
On March 31, 2012, Justin stepped into the ring to face senator and political rival Patrick Brazeau, in a charity bout held at the Hampton Inn Convention Center in Ottawa.
The event called ‘Fight For The Cure’, was in benefit of a foundation dedicated to combatting cancer. His rival Brazeau, a former military man with a background in martial arts, was the favorite to win the fight, as very few knew of Trudeau’s boxing ability.
But in true political blow hard fashion, Justin won through, with TKO in the third round. The victory proved a big hit with the press and the powerful qualities shown that night, might well have helped him obtain the popularity to reach his current position.
Boxing is classified as a sport in which you must overcome the technical repertoire of your rival, as well as the unforeseen events that arise during the competition.
Without a doubt that night Trudeau showed many qualities that have made him stand out in his professional standing.
