Jose Zepeda returns to the ring

Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN will return with its first 2023 Mexico Edition on Saturday, March 25, from the Domo Alcalde in Guadalajara, Mexico.

It’s featuring a 10-round super lightweight bout between José “Chon” Zepeda in the main event. (35-3, 27 Kos) of La Puente, California against Neeraj “Gangster” Goyat (17-3-2, 7 Ko`s) of Chandigarh, India.

Zepeda returns to fight after a gutsy bid for the vacant WBC super lightweight title against Regis Prograis, in November 2022.

In the co-main event, Carlos “Chema” Ocampo (34-2, 22 KOs) of Ensenada, Mexico will fight a 10-round junior middleweight bout. Ocampo returns to the ring after a tough battle against Sebastián Fundora in October 2022 for the interim WBC 154-pound title.

Also on the undercard, Rafael “El Divino” Espinoza (19-0, 16 KOs) of Guadalajara is scheduled to fight in a 10-round featherweight clash.

The card is a co-promotion of Golden Boy Promotions and Zanfer Boxing and will be broadcast on DAZN.
