José Gamito will face Gilbert González for the WBC Latino featherweight title in Herrera

Spain’s José Gamito and Venezuela’s Gilbert González will face each other this Saturday, April 18, in Herrera, Seville, in a 10-round bout for the WBC Latino featherweight title.

Gamito enters the fight undefeated with a record of 8 wins, 5 by knockout, in what will be his first professional title opportunity. In his most recent outing, he stopped Colombia’s Bryan Zapata in six rounds.

González, meanwhile, holds a record of 25 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw, with 17 knockouts, and brings greater professional experience into the bout. His background in higher-level fights positions him as a solid test for the Spanish fighter.

The fight is scheduled for ten rounds, adding an element of endurance and strategy for both boxers in a title setting.

The event will be organized by Saga Heredia Promotions and will feature additional professional and amateur bouts as part of the card in Seville.
