Jose Carlos Ramirez prepares to defend the WBC belt in February

The World Boxing Council super lightweight champion, José Carlos Ramirez, who`the pride of the Central Valley of California, will make the second defense of his world title against Mexican Jose “Chon” Zepeda, on Sunday, February 10 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno California.

Ramirez vs. Zepeda will be the main event of a show presented by Top Rank on ESPN starting at 7 p.m. ET. The world champion is powering ahead with his preparations, because he says he wants to have a spectacular win in front of his local audience.

A percentage of each ticket sold will benefit the Community Cancer Institute in Clovis, California.
