
Naoya ”Monster” Inoue will seek to retain his WBC Super Bantamweight title against Ramon “Dinamita” Cardenas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The fight on May 4th.
The 122-pound champion will once again set foot on American soil after eight consecutive fights in his home country.
The Japanese superstar will face “Dinamita” Cardenas, an American fighter seeking to become a world champion for the first time in his career.
“Monster” has an undefeated record of 29 wins, 26 of them by knockout. The American hasn’t been defeated since April 2017, holding a 14-fight winning streak.
Cardenas challenged the champion this February after defeating Mexican Bryan Acosta by unanimous decision.
Noaya declared himself excited to fight at the T-Mobile Arena. He also took advantage of the microphones to talk about his opponent:
