Inoue and Akhmadaliev Negative in Anti-Doping Test

The Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champion, Japan’s Naoya Inoue, defeated former World Champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev, of Uzbekistan, by unanimous decision on September 14th.

It was the main event of a card organized at the Aichi International Arena (IG Arena) in Nagoya, Japan.

The fight was interesting and exacting because Inoue faced and fought a dangerous puncher, who was eager to end Inoue’s unbeaten streak. However, , the Japanese fighter moved around the ring, counter punching and intelligently dominating his opponent.

The WBC has received the closing report from VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) with regards to Inoue and Akhmadaliev, with all negative results.
