Iconic WBC Moments 2025 – First Semester: 2.- Women’s Summit 2025

2025 has been a wonderful year for the WBC, infused with great and memorable events.

We will be publishing iconic moments from the WBC in this first half of the year.

The World Boxing Council has always fought to dignify women’s boxing, and this was confirmed at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on April 2 and 3 with the Women’s Summit 2025, a summit entirely dedicated to women’s boxing.

This event featured the presence of important female boxers and former world champions Christy Martin, Laila Ali, Yokasta and Naomi Valle, Kika Chávez, Mia St. John, Mariana and Lulú Juárez, Jackie Nava and Tiara Brown.

Various topics of importance to women’s boxing were discussed, and work will continue for the well-being of women in our sport.
