Iconic Moments of the WBC 2025 – First Semester: 9.- Amazing Muay Thai World Festival

The Amazing Muay Thai World Festival 2025 has been a phenomenal success for the WBC and we’ll be publishing iconic moments from this first semester.

It starred, featured, produced and directed representatives from many countries. Held in Verona, Italy, from June 25th to 29th. The festival’s inauguration took place in the mythical magnificent Arena of Verona, one of the most important amphitheaters in the world. This massive event was organized by the WBC – Muay Thai with the support of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Sports Authority of Thailand.

The summit festival, represented the pinnacle of international Muay the height of excellence. Thai competition and a cultural celebration, bringing together more than 1,600 participants, including 860 fighters, coaches, officials, athletes, and enthusiasts.

WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán was present at this event and witnessed great fights at all levels. The ongoing fulfillment of a solemn promise made by the WBC to the Royal Family of Thailand, involving developing Muay Thai globally.

Within the framework of this grand celebration, the WBC Cares program played a fundamental role. WBC MuayThai Secretary General, Kevin Noone, and WBC Cares Mexico President, Christiane Manzur, presented a donation of €10,000 to the Smile Mission foundation.
