
World Boxing Council light flyweight champion Masamichi Yabuki (13-3, 12 KOs), 29, will face former champion Kenshiro Teraji (18-1, 10 KOs), 30, in Kyoto, Japan on March 19th.
Yabuki is determined to leave no doubt that he is the best fighter in the division, so he is inputting extra preparation for this important fight.
Teraji was dethroned by a 10th-round TKO by Yabuki, failing in his ninth defense of the WBC light flyweight title, and losing his undefeated career in professional boxing.
Before his fight with Yabuki, Teraji suffered from COVID and says that this influenced his performance and that the rematch fight will be entirely different.
