
A battle for the vacant WBC francophone bridgerweight title will take place on March 29th.
Oleksandr Hrytsiv will fight Rad “Raad Thuntder Rashid” Rashid for the WBC Francophone bridgerweight title. The bout will take place in Lviv, Ukraine.
Hrytsiv, started his professional career in 2020 with an impressive streak of 6 KO ‘s, none of them going past the sixth round. His most recent two fights, which he has also won, were by unanimous decision. So he comes into this fight with an undefeated record of 9 fights won.
“Raad Thuntder Rashid,” has a little more experience. With a record of 23-9, 19 of them by knockout, the German has knocked out 3 of his last 5 opponents.
Both fighters are, for the first time, facing the opportunity to be champions of a title recognized by the WBC.
The last bantamweight champion of the aforementioned belt was Adam Balski. On January 27, 2024, Balski knocked his Polish compatriot Artur Gorski to the canvas in the first round.
In the co-feature fight we will have another interesting WBC-Ukraine title fight.
Tsiura comes in with a record of 9 wins, 6 of them by KO and 2 losses. Reznichenko will be looking to continue his undefeated record of 8 wins.
