1. JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ (MEX) – He won the title on May 13, 1989 by defeating Roger Mayweather. In this division he faced quality fighters: Meldrick Taylor, Hector Camacho, Greg Haugen, Terrence Alli. The cream of the crop!
2. OSCAR DE LA HOYA (US / MEX) – He conquered the crown by defeating Julio Cesar Chavez on June 7, 1996. He defended his title against another historic fighter, Miguel Angel González, showing his great quality which led him to conquer other divisions.
3. KOSTYA TSZYU (SIB/AUST) – He won the 140-pound crown by defeating Miguel Angel Gonzalez, in a sensational fight, on August 21, 1999. He faced the Greats! Julio César Chávez, Zab Judah, Jesse James Leija.
4. ROGER MAYWEATHER (US) – He won the super lightweight belt by defeating Rene Arredondo by knockout in the sixth round on November 12, 1987. He was dominant in the division defeating tough fighters, always displaying the great technique of the Mayweather Family.
5. TIMOTHY BRADLEY (US) – He conquered the WBC crown by defeating Junior Witter, in an excellent fight that was considered one of the best of 2008. He went on to conquer the welterweight division.
