Hérnandez vs Masgayo purse bid postponed

This Monday the WBC announced a seven-day mourning period following the passing of Pope Francis.

The Purse Bid was scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, but due to the mourning, it was postponed for a week.

MP Promotions and TGB Promotions. who represent Mark Magsayo, have asked the WBC to postpone the procedure until April 29. Matchroom Boxing, promoter of Eduardo Hernandez, was informed of this request.

The bout expected to take place in July will be at WBC super featherweight. The winner of this bout will become the mandatory challenger to O’ Shaquie Foster’s world title.
