Terri Harper will defend her super-featherweight title of the World Boxing Council against Britain’s Natasha Jonas on April 24 at the Doncaster Dome in England.
The undefeated 23-year-old champion made history in February becoming the first British woman to win the WBC super featherweight title by defeating Eva Wahlstrom.
“It will be special to make the first defense of my WBC world title in my city,” Harper said.
Harper has got five knockouts in her 10 professional victories since debuting as pro in 2017.
Jonas, 35, fought for the last time in November, defeating Bianka Majlath.
