Handy chat and no idle boast! Badou Jack vs. Marcus Browne for WBC Silver crown
Oh Boy!
Former two-division world champion Badou Jack (22-1-3, 13 KOs) and 2012 unbeaten Olympian Marcus Browne (22-0, 16 KOs) fight on January 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the World Boxing Council Silver light heavyweight belt.
Both fighters commented on aspects of the fight in this fashion:
Marcus Browne: “I feel honored. I’m ready. I have worked hard throughout my career. Badou Jack is a respectable man, twice world champion, but on January 19 you will see me winning. I’m ready to take care of business. I know he knows what’s coming. I’m going to let my hands talk. I appreciate that he signed the contract and that he is a man to fight against me. I am very different from all the rivals he has faced. He`s due for a big surprise. ”
Badou Jack: “I’m excited. I’m always in the gym, always working hard. So I do not have to say I’m ready. I’m always ready. It’s going to be a good fight. Hungry young fighters have something to prove. I’ve been there and faced the best. I do not have to boast about what I’ve done. This is the best boy available and we’re going to have a great fight. “
