World Boxing Council light heavyweight Champion, Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk, will face IBF Champion, Russian Artur Beterbiev, in an intense unification clash, tomorrow night at the Liacouras Center, in Philadelphia, U.S.
For Oleksandr Gvozdyk, this will be his fourth world title match. With just 15 fights, he won the interim title in March 2018, when he defeated Mehdi Amar, in New York. He then faced champion Adonis Stevenson, whom he defeated by knockout in 11 rounds to become absolute champion.
Artur Beterbiev won the vacant title in November 2017, when he defeated Enrico Koelling, making defenses against Callum Johnson and Radivoje Kalajdzic.
At the official weigh in Beterbiev and Gvozdyk were 174.3 pounds and 174.5 pounds respectively.
