Goran Babic, WBC Mediterranean champion

This November 25 at the Dome Arena in Charleroi, Belgium, two important fights took place where recognized WBC titles were at stake.

In a fight for the WBC Mediterraneo cruise title, Serbian Goran Babic scored an important victory by knocking out Moroccan Kamel Kaouach in the eighth round. The fight was hotly disputed but little by little Babic showed superiority.
In another fight between Belgian fighters, Jan Helin tied with Ibrahima Diallo in a fight where the WBC Youth super welterweight title was being disputed. Both warriors showed great qualities in the ring and obtained a well-deserved draw at the end of the action. The supervisor of these fights was the Vice President of the WBC, Houcine Houichi.
