George Foreman will be honored in Houston
The Foreman family together with the City of Houston, will hold a Memorial Service in memory of George Foreman who passed away on March 21.
Through a press release, the family of the boxer announced this tribute to a legendary man.
The service will be held on Monday, April 14 at the Wortham Theater Center in Houston, Texas at 10:45 am.

The Foreman family ask fans to respect their assigned seats, as there will be special seating that requires an invitation. They also ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ or George Foreman’s foundation, The George Foreman Charitable Foundation.
The service will not only honor “Big George’s” extraordinary and unique boxing career, it will also serve to commemorate his contributions as a businessman, man of faith, mentor and some of his initiatives such as the “George Foreman Youth and Community Center” which was dedicated to providing opportunities and hope to people.
