World Boxing Council Featherweight Champion Gary Russell Jr. remains fighting fit to defend his crown.
Gary is coming off defending his title in February of last year, proving that he is the best featherweight in the world, by defeating tough fighter Tugstogt Nyamabyar.
The WBC ordered the match between Russell Jr. and former WBC super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas, a fight that is sure to be one of the best of the year.
Russell Jr. is active in training and in excellent condition to show he is the king of the division.
