Women’s boxing will experience one of its brightest nights at the Honda Center in Anaheim, when the absolute monarch of the 112-pound division, Gabriela “Sweet Poison” Fundora, returns to the ring to defend her undisputed crown against the experienced Colombian challenger, Viviana Ruiz Corredor.

At 23 years old, Gabriela Fundora has ceased to be a prospect and has become a tangible reality. Possessing an unusual height and reach for the flyweight division, the American has managed to combine these physical advantages with a volume of punches that smothers and covers her rivals.
After being honored as the 2024 Fighter of the Year, Fundora enters this commitment seeking her sixth title defense. Her goal is clear: to clear out the division and cement her name at the top of the pound-for-pound lists. This fight takes place within a framework of family glory, as her brother, Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora, the WBC world super welterweight champion, is also preparing for an epic defense against Keith Thurman on March 28th in Las Vegas.

In the opposite corner, discipline and hand speed will be the arms for Viviana Ruiz Corredor. The Colombian, based in Australia, understands that this is the appointment with destiny she has sought throughout her career.
With a record of 10 wins and 2 losses, Ruiz Corredor is no stranger to international challenges. Although the odds favor the undisputed champion, the agility and counter-punching ability of the South American promise to be a litmus test for Fundora’s technique.
