Boxing is coming to the regions of Mexico to be exhibited at a national, regional and global level and the chosen epicenter is the beautiful Tlaxcala, whose clean and well-ordered urban puzzle is complemented by a mosaic of green fields on a background of imposing mountain ranges.
On July 27, the beautiful and ornate city, with its traditional colonial plaza, will host a mega boxing card starring former WBC super featherweight champion Miguel ”Alacran” Berchelt, NABF super bantamweight champion Israel ”Azulito” Ramírez and WBC international flyweight champion Marilyn Badillo.
In the Cuauhtémoc Apizaco Park, Tlaxcala, the first of five fitness boxing clinics was held as an integral part of the framework of this historic boxing card to be held at the end of this month.
Attendees participated in a fitness boxing class led by Rosy Olvera, who introduced people to the sport of fists.
What fitness boxing seeks is the integration and promotion of sport and physical activity, mixing boxing brush strokes, with strength and coordination exercises.
