Tension and excitement are mounting at the WBC Boxing Grand Prix 2025. This Monday, fighters from the four competing weight divisions completed their final official training session in Saudi Arabia, fine-tuning the final details before facing one of the tournament’s key moments: the weigh-in ceremony.
The highly anticipated event will take place this Tuesday, August 12, where boxers must meet the required weight for their respective weight classes: featherweight, super lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight.
The ceremony will be the perfect prelude to the explosive bouts of this third stage of the tournament, where each fight is a direct elimination, and any mistake can mean elimination.
Last chance to fine-tune strategy and physical condition. In the Riyadh gyms, trainers and teams have focused these final sessions on precision, coordination, and endurance exercises. In addition, every detail of hydration and nutrition has been carefully considered to ensure they arrive at the weigh-in at the exact limit for each weight class.
The WBC Boxing Grand Prix, organized by the World Boxing Council (WBC), has pioneered the implementation of new rules and a unique knockout format, promising intense fights from the opening bell.
