Fight card in honor of Salvador “Sal” Sánchez

At the WBC’s traditional Martes de Café, a special boxing event was announced to honor the great Mexican champion Salvador “Sal” Sánchez, with his family in attendance.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 30, at the Tepotzotlán Mansion in the State of Mexico, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The card will be headlined by Misael “Zurdo” Hinojosa against Leonardo Vargas, and will also feature appearances by Pablo César Cano, Mariana “Barby” Juárez, Julio “Pollito” Ceja, among others.

The evening will also include a segment dedicated to inclusive boxing, promoting the participation of athletes with different abilities.
