Evan Holyfield’s debuts with KO victory

Evan “Young” Holyfield, son of former unified cruiser world champion and three times  heavyweight world champion Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield, debuted successfully by knocking out Nick Winstead (0-2), in just 16 seconds of the first round Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a super welterweight fight, Holyfield went on the attack from the opening bell, landing a powerful combination that sent Winstead to the canvas, and the Referee stopped the fight.

Evan commented after the fight: “It was a blessing to be able to show my talent on this card. I just want to get in the ring to do my job. I was determined to succeed and God helped me.”
