EBU and BBB of C united call for peace in Ukraine

The European Boxing Union (EBU) and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBB of C) join the urgent call for peace leading to a ceasefire and the end of war in Ukraine.

They`ve announced that they won`t  certify any championships involving boxers from Russia and Belarus until further notice.

Likewise, the BBB of C announced through a statement that it will not allow boxers registered by the Russian Boxing Federation or the Belarusian Federation of Professional Boxing to compete in the United Kingdom under the jurisdiction of BBB of C, until the war ends.

Both federations have taken a clear stance in rejecting any form of war and ask the leaders to end this now.  Innocent  people are losing their lives. There is a bitter desolation of  pain and hopelessness.

The urge and the stress is for s resolution to  this conflict. Peace for the sake of setting an example to the world that violence is NOT the way today…or ever.
