
555 Media Agency, in collaboration with Bash Boxing, will present the Defending Mental Health: A Night of Boxing card, a special charity event dedicated to raising awareness about mental health in sports.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the historic Avalon Hollywood and will be broadcast live on DAZN.
This innovative event seeks to raise funds and awareness for mental wellness initiatives that support boxers and the boxing community. In collaboration with Athletes for Hope and the World Boxing Council, the event will offer all participating competitors one year of free access to therapy through Athletes.

The event will feature a roster of talented boxers from Southern California.
The main card will feature San Diego native Jonny “Magic” Mansour (4-0, 2 KOs), a rising star with over 50 amateur fights, facing off against 24-year-old Christian Avalos (3-2-2), a native of Carson City, Nevada, in a six-round lightweight bout.
Vic Pasillas (17-1, 10 KOs), a Los Angeles boxer fighting out of Redwood City, California, is preparing to fight in the ring for the first time in 2025.
Pasillas, 33, was one of the best amateur boxers, winning 25 national amateur titles and 272 wins. Vicious will face Carlos Jackson (20-2, 13 KOs), a 36-year-old Atlanta fighter from Anniston, Alabama, in an eight-round featherweight bout.
Ricardo Ruvalcaba (13-0-1, 10 KOs), originally from Ventura, California, will face 32-year-old Argentine Luis Alberto Verón (20-10, 9 KOs) in an exciting 8-round welterweight bout.
