David Mwale was crowned World Boxing Council (WBC) International Bantamweight Champion after defeating Michael Decardi Nelson by unanimous decision in an entertaining fight that clearly showed the ability and the talents of the new champion.
From the early rounds, Mwale showed superior technique, pace, and control of the ring. Although Nelson had moments of bravery, he was never able to match the quality and precision of the superior on the night fighter.
