Dateline McCaskill vs. Braekhus II

Undisputed WBC welterweight champion, Jessica McCaskill, will be defending her world titles against former champion Cecilia Braekhus, in a rematch, which will be the undercard of González vs. Estrada 2, on March 13th at the “American Airlines Center” in Dallas, Texas.

McCaskill (9-2 3 KOs) snatched the belt from Braekhus at Tulsa, Oklahoma in August, ending her long undefeated streak, by majority decision and becoming a two-division world champion in just her eleventh professional fight.

“I interrupted her career in the first fight,” McCaskill said. “I will finish his career in the rematch.”
Brækhus (36-1 9 KOs) was denied a record night with McCaskill preventing her from achieving her 25th consecutive successful defenses. So Cecelia activated the rematch clause.

“I’m very focused on getting all my belts back on March 13 in the rematch against Jessica,” said Brækhus. “It will be a very special night in Dallas for my fans and for all my fans around the world who can watch the fight on DAZN.”
