Young boxer Dario Espinoza, who lives with Down syndrome, was honored during the WBC’s Martes de Café. Dario attended alongside his parents, Guillermo Quijano — representative of Cronos Boxing Promotions, which has supported him — and his coach, Professor Charly.
Also present was Josejas, WBC’s Ambassador for Social Causes, who shared how he met Dario and witnessed how boxing transformed his life:
“Dario is my friend and my role model. He is an example for humanity, proving that anything is possible and there are no limits.”
Mauricio Sulaimán praised Dario’s inspiring journey:
“For the WBC, it is an honor to have you here. Seeing how your life has been transformed — how you’ve helped us grow, dream, and find happiness — we decided to invite you to Martes de Café to present you with your honorary champion medal.”
