Danny Roman returns to the gym

Danny ” Baby Face Assassin” Román (28-3-1, 10 KOs), is back in the gym and has his next goal clear…to challenge World Boxing Council super bantamweight champion Luis “Pantera” Nery (31-0, 24 KOs).

“My last fight against Juan Carlos Payano was a WBC eliminator. Now I’m back in the gym with the goal of winning the Green and Gold Belt against Nery, ”said Roman, who is promoted by Thompson Boxing Promotions. “Since I started boxing, I have always wanted to win the WBC title and I would like to make it happen. I am more focused than ever, as I wait for the opportunity to fight for the title. I will prepare harder than ever.
“My desire to be a world champion is what drives my hard work in the gym. I know what I am capable of. Nery is a true warrior like me, and I will be ready to fight him anytime, anywhere. Nery is a very talented fighter and I think the fight will be exciting for the fans because we would both leave everything in the ring, ” Roman concluded.
