Former two division champion Danny “Swift” Garcia is fully confident that he will achieve a resounding major victory when he faces World Boxing Council welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. on December 5 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Danny (36-2, 21 KOs), of Puerto Rican ancestry, is originally from Philadelphia and is a former WBC super lightweight champion, defeating quality rials Erik Morales, Amir Khan, Zab Judah, Lucas Matthysse, Nate Campbell and Kendall Holt. As a welterweight, he also became champion. He defeated former champions Lamont Peterson, Paulie Malignaggi and Robert Guerrero. His only two losses came to Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter in thrilling fights with the WBC welterweight title at stake.
Danny bounced back from those setbacks and scored two wins against Adrián Granados and Ivan Redkach, on his way to another title opportunity.
Garcia is preparing well and thoroughly for this important meeting, as he is totally determined to regain the WBC crown.
