Daniela “Leona” Asenjo retains her WBC Silver title

Chilean Lioness Daniela Asenjo successfully defended her WBC Silver bantamweight title after defeating Mexican Tania Garcia on Saturday night.

The fight was very close and competitive, with both fighters offering a great show.
More than 1,800 spectators at the “Antonio Azurmendy” Municipal Coliseum in Valdivia, Chile, thrilled with the victory of “Leona” over “La Finita”, who won by a majority decision.

The Judges’cards read 97-93, 95-95 and 96-94 in defense of the WBC Silver crown that she has held since October 2023.
