Princely Carlos Cuadras is motivated by the opportunity to reign as King for the second time this weekend and to regain his throne, but he must overcome unvanquished a young left-handed rival who`s determined to capitalize on an unexpected opportunity.
Carlos Cuadras was originally scheduled to face Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in a kindling rematch matchup; however, the Thai had health problems, which prevented him from contesting the WBC super flyweight title
So, Jesse Rodríguez steps forward to fight him for the World Boxing Council Crown.
“I prepared myself for a left-handed rival and Jessie is left-handed, so I have no problem. I want to win the title, either with Srisaket with Jessie or with whoever the opponent. I`m so ready to be WBC champion again,” commented Carlos Cuadras.
In the other corner, Jesse Rodríguez, is ultra-motivated to be part of the main duel of the night and is confident of being crowned as the new WBC monarch.
Here are the results of the official weigh-in:
Carlos Cuadras: 114.4 Lbs.
Jesse Rodríguez: 114.1 Lbs.
