
American Terence “Bud” Crawford earned the most important victory of his career by defeating Mexico’s Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez by unanimous decision to become the undisputed super middleweight world champion.
The fight was the main event of a card organized by Riyadh Season/The Ring, led by Turki Alalshikh, and was televised by Netflix from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Crawford moved up from 154 to 168 pounds to face “Canelo” and left no doubt about his victory, as he was the faster, more accurate, and higher-volume puncher, ascending to the top of the boxing world.
Yet it takes two to tango and Canelo put in a terrific effort, trying his utmost. He did his legion of fans proud. He was the first to congratulate Terence showing magnificent sportsmanship.
