Their Megafight on an historic night, marks the sunset of a magnificent trilogy…It’s that important!

In the middle of the impressive lobby of the World Trade Center, The Oculus was transformed into a catwalk for champions, where Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano prowled and then offered their superb, plus meticulous public training sessions ahead of their third helping, on July 11 at Madison Square Garden.
With hundreds of fans and passersby as witnesses, both figures showed off dazzling segments of their repertoire in an atmosphere that combined sports, media, and pure/raw emotion. The event was organized by MVP Promotions and Netflix and served as a pristine prelude to a card composed exclusively of women’s fights.
Two huge inflatables with the figures of Taylor and Serrano loomed close to the ring, where memorable moments were experienced. Irish champion Katie Taylor entered with her usual sober yet clinically focused style, and starred in a tender moment when a little girl from the audience climbed into the ring to shadow box with her. As she climbed down, the little girl looked at the cameras and said excitedly, “I love Katie,” which quickly went viral on social media.

Amanda Serrano was greeted enthusiastically by the crowd. Accompanied by Puerto Rican boxers Krystal Rosado and Elise Soto, the Puerto Rican superstar greeted fans warmly, signed autographs, and shared the ring with her teammates. Her charisma and sheer vitality was evident in every gesture. What a fighter!
The training session was also attended by children and teenagers from the “Cops and Kids Boxing” program, who watched the exhibitions from the front row. According to one of the project coordinators, seeing Serrano and Taylor in action is a real motivation for young people to pursue their dreams inside and outside the ring.
Rosado and Soto also fought in four-round exhibition bouts, further enlivening the event and reinforcing the prominence of women’s excellence in the Noble Art.

The fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor III will mark a new chapter in one of the most important rivalries in the history of women’s boxing. The trill-trilogy seeks to definitively determine who is the best pound for pound.
The bout, agreed upon at super lightweight, headlines a historic evening that will be broadcast live on Netflix and organized by Jake Paul’s promoter, MVP Promotions. It is expected to be the most important women’s card ever organized at Madison Square Garden. The Ritz of Pips in the Big Apple.
