Clavel Vs Nery Plata looms

Kim Clavel and Jessica Nery Plata fight on January 13 in a Light Flyweight Unification clash at Place Bell Laval in Quebec, Canada.

The fight was scheduled for December 1 but had to be postponed due to Clavel coming down with the flu.
Clavel is already fully recovered and has shown it in the hard training sessions she has had, because she knows the quality of her rival.

The 31-year-old WBC champion, won the crown for her on July 29 in Montreal, defeating titleholder Yesenia Gomez by 10-round unanimous decision at the Casino de Montreal. She became the second woman and the eighth GYM world champion.
Nery Plata won her title by dethroning former Argentine champion Yesica Bobb in Panama.
