Boxing superstar Claressa “G.W.O.A.T.” Shields and unbeaten top-rated challenger Ema Kozin showed off their skills at a media workout Wednesday before Shields defends her WBC/WBA/IBF Middleweight World Titles this Saturday, February 5 live from Cardiff, Wales in an event available in the U.S. and Canada on pay-per-view.
Claressa, 26, defeated previously undefeated then super welterweight world champion Marie-Eve Dicaire in March of last year to make history and become the first women boxer in the four-belt era to be undisputed world champion in two divisions.
If she comes out of this fight with her arm raised, Shields is expected to face the only boxer who has beaten her when they were both amateurs: Savannah Marshall (11-0, 2 KOs).
For her part, Kozin (21-0, 11 KOs) hopes to pull off a seismic upset in her first shot at a world crown.
