Christian Mbilli motivated for his WBC interim title fight
On June 27, the WBC interim super middleweight belt fight between Christian “Solide” Mbilli and Maciej “Striczu” Sulecki will take place.
The Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Canada, will host more than 18 thousand people who will witness this war.
The Canadian sought to fight once with Kevin Lele and twice with Diego Pacheco but none of those fights came to fruition.
Mbilli stated for Boxing Scene, “I was a little frustrated that Pacheco refused to fight me, but I don’t care, it’s boxing; some boxers dodge another boxer; that’s life; that’s boxing…”.
“My team has done a very good job with the WBC interim title and they have brought me another good fight.”
He also took the opportunity to talk about Sulecki: “For me he is a very strong boxer; he has fought many champions.
“I think right now all the fights are very dangerous. This man has a lot of experience, a lot of important fights. I have to be very careful. I think it’s a big challenge for me, it’s not just a regular fight for me; it’s for the interim title and I will be ready to put on a great show for all the fans around the world.”
Maciej “Striczu” Sulecki holds a record of 33-3 with 13 KOs.
Christian “Solide” Mbilli has an undefeated record of 28 wins, 23 of them by KO.
