Tall lanky Angel “Camaleon” Ayala (9-0, 5Ko`s) won the World Boxing Council FECARBOX Flyweight Crown in a hurry with a second round KO of Luis “Chapo” Castro (18-5-2, 13 Ko`), with a crunching left hook to the liver, at The Jardines de Pedregal Room, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Friday night.
Undefeated Ayala used his considerable height and reach advantage to dominate round one, attacking from the outset, firstly with a ramrod jab and then he let his hands go to land a lot of combinations, mostly from long range.
The end came in the second round, when Ayala set up Castro with a hard right and then, he landed the perfect left hook to his opponent`s liver. Castro went down hard, grimacing and there was no chance of him getting up within ten seconds. He was counted out at the two minutes twenty six seconds mark.
