Jermell and Jermall Charlo return to the ring on December 22nd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, presented by PBC, on the FOX Network.
Jermall, the interim WBC middleweight champion will defend his belt against Willie Monroe Jr. While Jermell, who’s the WBC super welterweight champion fights Tony Harrison.
Jermall (27-0, 21 KO) is close to contesting the absolute crown against absolute champion, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who will fight on December 15 against Rocky Fielding.
Jermall fought for the last time on April 21, knocking out Hugo Centeno Jr. in the second round.
Monroe (23-3, 6 KO) is a former title challenger with losses to Gennady Golovkin and Billy Joe Saunders in world title fights. He vows he’s significantly improved a lot and will prove it on December 22nd.
Jermell (31-0, 15 KO) has shown his caliber in his most recent fight, defeating the experienced Austin Trout, making the third successful defence of his green and gold title.
Harrison (27-2, 21 KO), Jermell’s next rival, is a talented fighter, who’s a top prospect. He has defeats against Willie Nelson and Jarrett Hurd, but in his previous fight he defeated Ishe Smith.
