WBC, WBA and IBF super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo, and WBO champion Brian Castaño rematch, seeking out undisputed glory this Saturday, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
Charlo participated in a training open to the media at the Churchill Boxing Club in Santa Monica, California and was crystal clear in expressing his aim:
“I don’t want this fight to go the distance. I don’t get paid for overtime. I’m ready to rock. I’m putting it all on the line and I’m ready to destroy. I’m going to give the fans an exciting and entertaining show.
“Castaño will have to do something different in this fight. But whatever he does or whatever move he has, I’m going to be all over him. My goal is to knock him out.
“I’m just focused on my career and my craft. Being on the undisputed list means more to me than being on the pound-for-pound lists. I want to be at the top level and for people to see that I am indisputable and know that this is my moment.
“I made some changes, but I will still be the same Jermell Charlo. I am ready to use what I have. I don’t know if this fight will be like the first. Could be a faster night.”
