This Saturday, March 15, Andrew Cain and Charlie Edwards will clash at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
Andrew Cain will try to continue his knockout reign and retain his WBC Silver Bantam, Commonwealth Boxing Council Bantam, and BBBofC British Bantam titles against an opponent who hasn’t lost a fight since 2016.
Cain won the WBC International Silver Bantamweight title on November 5, 2024, after Edwards vacated it. To win it, however, Cain had to face Lazaro Casseres and knock him out in the second round with a right uppercut.
Edwards, meanwhile, fought Frenchman Georges Ory in April 2024. Charlie won the fight by unanimous decision in the 10-round bout to win the WBC International Silver Bantamweight title. Andrew Cain has finished six of his last seven fights by knockout, maintaining a 13-1 record.
Charlie Edwards, at 32, has an impressive 20-1 record.
This bout will be the co-main event of a 12-fight card featuring Nick “The Wreacking” Ball and TJ “The Power” Doheny.
