Canelo’s supreme work ethic!

Saul Canelo Álvarez will return to Mexico to defend his super middleweight titles against Englishman John Ryder on Saturday, May 6 at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

No ifs for May. Exceptionally fit Canelo meticulously prepares in order to give a memorably great virtuoso performance for his fans. He clearly showed his boxing prowess, guile and consummate skills during a training session open to the media.

Canelo trained at his gym facilities in San Diego, California, accompanied by his work team and mariachis of note.

For 12 years, Canelo has not had a fight in Mexico. Most of his championships have been won in the United States, so his return to Jalisco as the undisputed champion of super middleweights gives him great satisfaction. So poignantly special!
