Camila Zamorano to Defend Her Atomweight World Title

Next February 21, WBC atomweight world champion Camila “Magnífica” Zamorano will defend her title at the Palenque of ExpoGan in Hermosillo, Sonora. Her opponent will be Argentina’s Verónica Ruiz.

Camila thanked those in attendance and stated that she feels very happy, prepared, and excited to return to the ring. She highlighted that it will be an interesting fight, as it marks the second defense of her championship.

Eleazar Zamorano, Camila’s father and trainer, explained that part of the preparation took place in Tlaxcala and was emphatic in stating that the belt will stay in Hermosillo.
