On Saturday, Chantelle Cameron will return to Ireland to fight Katie Taylor, once again, putting her super lightweight titles on the line.
Taylor-Cameron II will take place at Dublin’s 3Arena, the same venue where she handed Taylor the first loss of her professional career.
Cameron, 32, won a 96-94, 96-94, 95-95 majority decision over Taylor in the first defense of the undisputed super lightweight title she won last year by defeating Jessica McCaskill.
Cameron (18-0, 8 KO’s), who is one of the best fighters today, has won the last four fights by decision.
Taylor (22-1, 6 KO’s), who remains the undisputed lightweight champion, remains one of Ireland’s most popular sporting figures.
Both fighters were face to face in the last press conference prior to this attractive revenge fight.
“I am the champion and I am going to prove it on Saturday. I need to have more recognition of my quality and another victory against Taylor will give it to me. I had a great preparation and I know what I can achieve when I set my mind to it. Don’t miss next Saturday’s fight ,” Taylor commented.
Taylor said: “I’ve seen the first fight and I’ve made some adjustments. I’m not worried about what Cameron does; I’m just worried about what I can do in the ring. On Saturday you’ll see a different fighter.”
Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron will be available live on DAZN.
