Bruno Macho wins WBC Intercontinental Youth Title

In a card organized by PCI Promotions at the José Escandón Pavilion in Santa Cruz de Bezana, Spain, local fighter Bruno Macho (9-0, 2 KO) was crowned WBC Intercontinental Youth Bantamweight Champion by defeating Colombian Bairon Rodríguez (11-3, 7 KO).

Macho’s victory was well crafted, with brilliant offensive and superb defensive strategy, with which he managed to win clearly.
From the first bell, Bruno showed better qualities; and although Rodríguez always sought to attack and pressure his rival, the Spanish fighter’s cool and clever dominance was evident in most of the rounds.
The Judges’ scores were: 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93, all for Bruno. We are grateful for the work and support provided by Carmen Pérez, Mayor of Santa Cruz de Bezana, to make this important boxing card a reality and success.
