Brilliant cultural and boxing exchange Mexico-Argentina
Thanks to the efforts of the Association of Argentine Professional and Amateur Managers and Boxers (AMBAPA), five boxers have traveled to Mexico with the intention of participating in a Mexico-Argentina tournament endorsed by the WBC-Amateur.
The fighters are: Diego Roldán, from La Plata (56 kilos); Jesus Burgos, from Tres Arroyos (60 kilos); Matias Lavallen, from Tandil (64 kilos); Axel Córdoba, also from Tandil (69 kilos); and Facundo Chávez, from Buenos Aires (75 kilos).
After the battles, the participants started the second stage of the program, learning the cultural and technical characteristics of Mexican boxing.
All the participants enjoyed the great and invaluable experience of training with the best Mexican coaches, promoting a much more complete boxing training.
Like last year when Uruguayan fighters also came with the desire to learn, these five Argentine fighters visited Mexico for several weeks, learning, meeting and making new friends.
We hope that this practice becomes an annual tradition between the WBC and many South American fighters, because all who have been part of this project, have repeatedly commented, how important this cultural exchange has been, within their development as fighters and as young people.
